The next one to support these will be French with a similar number of units. Read a book on the Marine artillery thinking of one 2 battalion regiment, 1813 and one battery from this branch with my French army.

This is something I have wanted to do for some time the Neapolitan Army of King Murat.
Very few gamers field this army, one reason is in the beginning the prisons of Napals were emptied and the men were placed in the new army to build it's numbers quickly. Many of these deserted as soon as they could many died in Spain but after a couple of years most of them were gone and they had been replaced by volunteers and conscripts. It is possible that prisoners were given an opportunity to serve in the army or navy rather than a prison cell but I don't have information on this.
But it is that incident that has tarnished the Neapolitan armies reputation not to mention a comment Napoleon made about it's 7e Royal African Regt (They were a sappeur battalion in the French army) "that they were the worst unit in the French Army but the best in the Neapolitan Army."
This may or may not be true, it was also very Napoleon to sing the praises of the French army and downgrade his allies armies (except of course for the Poles and the Army of the Kingdom of Italy as Napoleon was King of Italy).
The Neapolitan Army did not better or worse than other French allied forces in Spain and as for 1812 they were garrison troops some not surrendering till 1813.
The Neapolitan joined the Allies against Napoleon 1814 and fought the Franco-Italian Army of the King of Italy, then in 1815 Murat switched sides and joined Napoleon and fought the Austrians in Northern Italy. Murat moved against the Austrians to early before Napoleon was ready. Murat won some battles but lost the last one and with that his Kingdom.
